Bus No. 56 will continue running on Bolderāja – Ziepniekkalns route from April 5, 2014
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that bus route No. 56 has been given a regular status and bus No. 56 will continue running on the "Bolderāja – Ziepniekkalns" route. The schedule will remain the same, yet the number of routes turning to Lāčupe cemetery will be reduced in some hours. Residents were supportive of the new route and asked it to be preserved as it makes their everyday life easier by providing a comfortable means of transportation to work, medical and educational institutions, etc.
Bus No. 56 ensures a convenient connection on route Bolderāja–Imanta–Zolitūde–Šampēteris–Āgenskalns–Torņakalns–Ziepniekkalns, improving transportation of local residents.
We remind that on January 27, 2014 bus route No. 56 "Bolderāja – Ziepniekkalns" was opened in test mode for a period of three months.
